200 sit-ups 30 push ups 500 skips everyday..i'm on my way to a healthy lifestyle but still far from a flat tummy....i decided to blog about last night's concert because i realize that i've completely forgotten about it till my sis reminded me..she and my dad were commenting on the characters while i was trying very hard to remember what i did last night..such a pathetic state of the mind..
it was a rock musical...We Will Rock You..a real eye-opener for me because i've always been pro-classical..i was filled with anticipation on my way there due to the numerous super-positive remarks by my friends..
ok and the musical started..i could hardly decipher what the actors were saying due to the strong mix of foreign accent..so i was quite lost everytime everyone burst out laughing at what was supposed to be a joke..i'm a very bad storyteller but the musical is something about the future world where (rock) music was banned and all musical instruments in the world have been destroyed..everything was cyberspace and everyone was tracked by a microchip
towards the ending..the atmosphere was really high..and everyone was cheering and whistling and shouting..i was really awed by the performance and the powerful vocal abilities of the singers...they received a standing ovation at the end although it wasnt really an end..in fact the endings were all quite sketchy..
