it has been quite a while since i've played the role of an accompanist.i'm reliving the experience again, or at least i hope i can, thanks to wang sao :)
yesterday, i came home with wang sao.she with her cello and me with a bulky euphonium (which earned me nothing but stares from people-.-).
we spent a long time playing her exam pieces and random pieces from a book.it was super fun and exciting.the only thing, perhaps, was that i was nursing a bad headache, so it probably affected my sight-reading and concentration to some extent.
anyway, wang sao's truly an inspiration.i dont think i have ever seen a more self-driven and self-motivated person.i am put to shame, honestly.
"if you want something badly enough, you'll put in all that you've got to achieve it".
the results?
more than satisfying.
