i went for the goodwood park hotel durian pastry buffet today!mum and i spotted the ad in the papers weeks ago and have been wanting to make reservations but we procrastinated as usual and only waited till now..anyway, it was pretty awesome..during the first round of loading, i took almost everything, durian pancake, durian roll, durian oreo cheesecake, durianmisu, durian pudding, durian puff, berry panacota and madeleine, bread and butter pudding and lots of cake until my plate couldn't contain anymore and it looked like a sickening mass of mush XD the durian puffs were positively overflowing with durian..i loved the durian oreo cheesecake and the durian pancake the most..yummy!!i went for countless servings, which was really embarrassing especially after everyone declared themselves filled because they would turn and look every time i came back with more..but oh well, we were all quite close so i couldn't care less..dad got pissed off because he wasn't used to eating only pastries and it upset his stomach..so he ordered a bee tai mak which cost $14 before GST..lols quite funny actually..
in preparation for this, i skipped in the morning and swam at night..but i know very well that this amount of work is insignificant as compared to what i would have to do to work off all these..but nonetheless, it was well worth it :)
