Up and up!
Wow what a relief! I have just about settled everything, just have to wait for some confirmation but hey, at least now i know they'll reply!:)Almost for sure, CAAS is confirmed. My accompaniment stint is also confirmed. Now, it's just KTPH and MaW left. Hopefully i'd be able to get a doctor-shadowing in by next week, but i'm not expecting anything.
Yay i'm so happy now i can celebrate CNY with a peace of mind. It's ironic how i'm stressed when i have so much free time at hand. Anyway, i started practising Sunflower until the skin on my fingers started peeling. No it doesnt hurt, but i still can't play it right. D:
Just some moments before, i chanced across this news article. IMO, it's about this psychotic mother proudly proclaiming her success formula for parenting, which included no sleepovers, no choosing your own cca, no participating in school plays, no saying no to learning piano AND violin etc. and that it's good to call your child lazy and pathetic because rather than demoralising, it motivates. To her, it's also stupid to think that each child is special and that nurturing soft skills are a waste of time. It was splashed across 2 half-pages of the newspaper, that's how much pride she takes in her "Chinese model of successful parenting". How disturbing..
