Hausmusik
I conquered my fear! Haven't been happy after accompaniment in quite a while. Ok fine i made mistakes (which was damn sian because they were actually easy to play) BUT i'm satisfied. Level up!Hausmusik was interesting. There was a brass quintet by students from Regent Sec, Quan Hui sang, and there was this pro flautist who played Mozart's Concerto in D major (converted from the Oboe Concerto in C Major)! Quan Hui's accompanist was damn pro and very pretty! She played so many pieces..told me afterwards she was very tired lol. The pro flautist is going to take his LTCL for flute next week or sth :O
JJ and i decided last minute to play the Ave Maria by Schubert. As in seriously last min, without any practice. It actually went well..until the end..where on my score it says "optional repeat" so i take it that we're not repeating but apparently i think we're supposed to repeat cos JJ came in on my last and final chord. But on hearing me lift my hands off the keys, he stopped too. THANK GOODNESS it was a tonic chord so we can still convince ourselves that the uninitiated might not think much about it. HIS EXPRESSION WAS EPIC OMG! I was already laughing and vibrating silently as we bowed and left XD ops!
